- Evang. (Dr) Lanre Atorise to Deliver Live Musical Performance
The Kwara State Government is set to hold the 2025 edition of its annual End-of-Year Family Funfair, a festive tradition that has become a much-anticipated highlight of the holiday season across the state.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Senior Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Muka Ray Eyiwumi, disclosed that this year’s edition will take place on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the Amusement Park, Ilorin.
Hon. Muka Ray described the funfair as a joyful gathering designed to promote unity, foster communal bonding, and create lasting memories for residents as the year winds down.
“This annual event continues to grow in impact and reach. It is His Excellency Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s way of giving back to the people and offering a joyful, inclusive space for celebration,” he said.
“It’s more than just entertainment. It’s about celebrating our diversity, strengthening unity, and giving families something to look forward to every December.”
The Governor’s aide further noted that this edition of the funfair will feature live performances, with popular gospel artiste Evangelist (Dr) Lanre Teriba Atorise headlining the musical segment.
“Other activities will include games, exhibitions, amusement rides, cultural displays, food stalls, and talent showcases — all within a secure, family-friendly environment,” he concluded.
