The Omar Bolaji Gambari Foundation has distributed free JAMB UTME forms to students across the 16 local government areas of Kwara State as part of its commitment to improving access to education.
The initiative, aimed at supporting students from diverse backgrounds, was carried out through a structured network of community leaders and local stakeholders. This ensured that deserving students across the state benefited from the program.
Speaking on the initiative, Mallam Omar Bolaji Gambari, the founder of the foundation, emphasized the importance of education as a tool for empowerment and development.
“Education is the foundation of a prosperous society. Through this initiative, we aim to provide opportunities for students who may not have the financial means to register for JAMB,” he stated.
To ensure a fair and effective distribution process, the foundation collaborated with community assemblies, local leaders, and trusted individuals who helped identify and assist students in need.
One of the community representatives commended the foundation for its dedication to youth empowerment, stating, “This initiative reflects a genuine commitment to the future of Kwara’s youth. It is about impact, not just promises.”
Many beneficiaries expressed their gratitude, describing the initiative as a life-changing opportunity. A student from Ilorin shared, “Without this support, I wouldn’t have been able to register for JAMB. This has given me hope for my future.”
The Omar Bolaji Gambari Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to supporting young people in Kwara and beyond. It promised to introduce more educational programs and initiatives focused on human capital development.
“This is just the beginning,” Gambari stated. “We will continue to invest in programs that uplift our youth and empower them with the tools to succeed.”
