Popular Nollywood Actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington has narrated details of a life-threatening health care she experienced in June while in the United Kingdom with her husband, Banky W, and their two sons.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram, the actress disclosed that she underwent an unexpected surgery that could have cost her life, saying the experience was both terrifying and transformative.
She wrote, “I could have lost my life in June. What I went through was horrific and ended with an unplanned surgery and strangely, the surgery itself was the least dramatic part of it all.”
Adesua added that the incident occurred while she was in the UK for two speaking engagements.
She thanked God for her survival, noting that every event of that day aligned perfectly to save her life.
“If even one single detail had been different, I wouldn’t be here today. When I think about it, I shudder” she said.
The actress stressed that the ordeal deepened her faith and renewed her gratitude for life.
She stated, “There’s nothing anyone can tell me, God is real.”
She urged her followers to cherish each day and embody compassion.
“Let’s choose to be softer, kinder, gentler, forgiving, patient, loving, and peaceful. I’ll never take another day for granted, neither should you,” she advised.
